University Admissions Introduction REQUIRE
The University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the City University of Hong Kong, the Lingnan University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Baptist University, and the Education University of Hong Kong are known as the "Hong Kong Eight". The top five universities are ranked 17th, 36th, 47th, 57th, and 62nd in the 2025 QS World University Rankings. Hong Kong is also the only city in the world with five top 100 universities! Even the last three universities are equivalent to the 985 and 211 universities in the mainland. Therefore, it is a good opportunity for students to be able to study in any of the eight universities in Hong Kong.
In addition, the Hong Kong Metropolitan University, the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Chu Hai University and the Hong Kong Shue Yan University are also good choices. These four universities are similar to the first-tier universities in the mainland.
