188-A Application Requirements

Under 55 years old, but if the business you plan to open will have special economic benefits in a particular area, the state/territory government may waive the age requirement.

Score at least 65 immigration points in the points system

Turnover in one or more businesses, at least AUD 500,000 in at least 2 of the 4 years from the time the visa application is submitted.

Achieve the following shareholding ratios in one or two main businesses a. If the business turnover is less than 400,000 Australian dollars, you must hold 51% of the shares b. If the business turnover is more than 400,000 Australian dollars, you must hold 30% of the shares c. If the business is a listed company, you must hold 10% of the shares and participate in the management of the business (the applicant has a successful experience of directly participating in the operation and management of the business).

Have a genuine intention to operate and manage the business in Australia.

188-B Application Requirements

Promise to continue business management and investment activities in Australia. Have a very successful business investment management record and no violations.
